   Yes, but only in the " Recent discussions" section. Once I get to the regular general topics, then it works fine -- i.e. clicking on the thread topic brings me to the first in the list that I have not read.

   The other problem I'm having is with "message notification" emails. I always get multiples for the same message, but today I got 13 emails for one message, and 14 for another.

   Maybe I'm missing something here, so excuse me.  If you don't already know, there are two ways to get notifications about posts.

   1. In your profile, you can choose to be notified anytime someone posts to you.

   2. When you reply to a thread, you have the option: 'Click Here to be notified whenever anyone posts in this discussion'.  You also have the option to be notified each day, each week or never.

   I have option 1 activated, believing if a post is made to me I should respond.  I've quit using the second choice and now I don't get a swarm of e-mails everytime someone else posts in a thread.

   yeah, I know all that. I'm just saying there is a glitch in the Prospero system when I get 13 email notices for the same message that has been posted to me. However, this does not happen all the time -- I got just a single email notice about your post to me. Then -- there have been times when I went for months without Taunton emails of any kind (either notifications or discussion subscriptions).None of this bothers me enough that I ever took the time to send an email to Mark, the sysop.

   Suggestion:  write to [email protected] with details so they'll know right away somethin's wrong.

   That always happens to me. I didn't realize it was a mistake, but it sure is annoying.

   So I start this thread and for the first time in a year I no longer have the problem!  Can't decide if I'm going nuts or just stupid...(most likely the later)

   Nope, don't think it's you. the problems with Prospero seem erratic and sporadic.
