Does anyone have a threaded insert/furniture bolt they have found to be quality?
Everything I find online these days, especially Amazon, is cheap chinesesium junk…..The last thing I want is something failing or somehow breaking off in or out of my piece…
Have you found the cheap stuff works perfectly fine?
I’m not worried about price, just quality.

I've used Powertek inserts and various others I'm sure Chinese. I've never had anything fail, but it's mostly for jigs.
I can't see much going wrong.
Your proly right. I just hate buying stuff from OGGEEZE, or how about ZEEPOW, or GUHIO.....Doesnt instill a lot of confidence.
I've used them for shop infrastructure stuff, too, but I'd rather not put that into a piece someone is paying me their hard-earned money for.
I bought some ‘carbon steel’ inserts off amazon a while back and the work well. The SS options are expensive.
Check McMaster-Carr
Pretty sure it's mcmaster.com.
I second this. I use their inserts frequently and they are great.
I don't know why I didn't think of them. Great idea. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Everything I've purchased has been top quality.
I too love Horton. They dont have inserts or bolts that i could find sadly.
Bed bolts in the linked page. You could get the inserts anywhere. You could also to the recessed hole as those suggest.
