Eight years ago, in 2002, I purchased a Woodpeckers PRL Router Lift at one of the WW shows. I liked the twin-screw lift and after I got piece of hex rod, I can run it up and down in seconds with my drill. (I use the hand crank for fine adjustments.)
Last Wednesday it became hard to turn the hand crank, so I called Tech Support. After a few questions the gal said, “Send it in. Our turn-around time is about 48 hours.” I made it to the Post Office by 4:30.
Today, Tuesday, the UPS truck pulled into the drive with my router lift. The Packing Slip had zeros all over it – No Charge – on an eight year-old unit. Not only was the repair Free but the service was outstanding.
Thank you, Woodpeckers!

The best of it all is that they are made 40 miles away from me in Cleveland, OH. US of A.
Something about Cleveland that isn't a JOKE ;-)
perfect
That's great, Frosty. Hopefully, I'll be able to tell a similar story 8 years from now with my BenchDog Pro lift from Rockler. Any bets? ;-)
I've been watching the flicker in the tree outside my window. It's a woodpecker that I'd cheer too.
