I have an old Jet Contractor’s table saw. (It is gray and pre-dates the white versions.) When I tilt the blade to 45 degrees the back of the blade is closer to the fence than the front of the blade thus pinching the wood. How can I fix this?

This calls for shims to alter the angle of the top relative to the trunnions. There are tablesaw tune up articles on the FWW pages that should address this issue. It is a common one for contractor saws.
