I bought my tilt top table latch from Paxton Hardware, http://www.paxtopnhardware.com. They are located in Upper Falls, Marylqand Great outfit to do business with.

They have a couple of different types

Also carry two types
I have used the ones from Whitechapel but I'm sure Horton are also usable
ric,
Horton's, already mentioned are good, also Ball and Ball in Exton, PA has two or three in different sizes and shapes.

I have used quite a bit of hardware from Londonderry Brasses. They cost a little more but are very fine looking.

Here is what I use. It's solid brass and available at Home Depot for around $5. Works very well.
