can anyone tell me about timbersil products? It is a treated wood preserved with sodium silicate. I haven’t heard too much about it and can’t find much info as far as anyone who has used it.

I heard about it some time ago. Supposed to be safer than other other treated woods. You should check with the folks in Breaktime.

40 year guarantee is pretty impressive and the research data and MSDS sheets are available.
