I have the Titan T-50 4 stage with the stock spray gun. i sprayed 4 houses with latex paint and 15-20 pieces of furniture with this gun. There is a learning curve and not too many problems except these, The Guncheck valve keps gumming up with the product. I have no idea why or what the purpose of this valve is. Second is the cup seal leaks and the vinyl tubes to the valve harden to the point they are brittle and hard to remove to clean. Anyone have any input on this would be appreciated.

The check-valve is how the air pressure is delivered into the cup and prevents backflow. If the valves are like mine then they should be unscrewed and cleaned after every use but they need to be periodically relaced along with the tubing.
Leakage around the cup can be caused by many factors including: you may need a new cup seal;the seal has not been removed for proper clean up after each use and material has uilt up under the seal creating an uneven surface; you have bent/distorted the cup lip; and the tension from locking lever is insufficient to create a proper seal. The mechanism that attaches the cup to the gun body can distort over time so when the lever is closed therre is insufficient tension. This can be corrected by replacing this part or shims between the cup lid and the lever.
just some thoughts - good luck.
