I tried it and didn't like it. It feels too much like plasticn abd besides, FWW did a review on glues and rated Elmers higher.
John, I used the titebond III to make exterior shutters a few months ago. I did like it. I thought the viscosity was good, Only time will tell how they hold up.

Don't hold your breath.
It did not fare any better in water resistance than the TBII in the test results reported on in the current Wood Magazine. There are other better extended open time adhesives and other adhesives that are truly waterproof.
I just used it for the first time. The results are posted in the Gallery under "Rain Stick."
I used it because I was gluing up Cocobolo and it's oily. I was thinking of using epoxy. But, our lead builder at work brought down a bottle of TBIII and said it'd work great. So, I used it. Time will tell whether it was a good choice or not.

I started using it, because I am always experimenting with new glues. I definitely notice the longer open working time, which is nice. I like its consistency. Clean-up is the same as other Titebond glues.
So I guess I like it so far. But it is too soon to tell how well it performs in the long run.
Thanks all, I used it for the first time, for the last couple of days, seems OK. Better than TB2 in that it isn't as runny. It doesn't setup instantly in the sun which is nice. We'll see.
Peace,
John
