I still have a photgraphic mind, but it is out of film.
I read something somewhere just the other day about a book on furniture design, now out of print. Not “fancy” furniture.
If you know of a book, please, take a shot and tell me what it might be.
Thanks,

There's a zillion books on furniture design. Try searching at Amazon for the one you are thinking of.
''Joyce The technique of furniture making.'' Batsford publishers last updated by Allen Peters. My film stock is the same but thanks to digital you can ask the world for information . Regards Teabag
Definitely not Joyce's book, that's more on costruction, not design.
Stem, Seth
TThis one's out of print and was a Taunton press book. Not too bad, definitely on design.
Look here for other design books

Look at magazines like Dwell, Metropolis, Interior Design, etc. I think the best thinking persons wood mag is

I was a charter subscriber to FWW and Woodwork is the one I look forward to. It's not for everyone but it works for me.
Film for a photographic mind - Could you install a digital system? It is filmless.
Alan,
Could it be, The Woodworker's Guide to Furniture Design, by Garth Graves? ("The complete reference for building furniture the right size, the right proportion and the right style.") Gary
Thanks everyone. Not the right book so far. I wonder if it "construction" is more the right category. And, I know there are a zillion books on the subject. Just thought maybe someone would just happened to have seen the same discussion and happened to hit on the right title. Oh well, maybe I'll think of it at some odd time.
I have thought about moving to digital for my memory system. I have always heard "memory" is more of an access issue than a "forgetting" problem. That your mind doesn't really forget something, it is simply not able to retrieve the info.
Thanks everyone for giving it s a shot. If I think of it I'll post it here.
