I seldom log in on the forum without the page comeing up saying that the forum is too busy to use.
I log in at varioue times ,from mid day or mid nite to 3 or 4 A.M. When I hit the return button twice, the forum comes back again, although slow as christmas

It sounds to me like somebody, probably your ISP, is lying to you. Do you access Knots through some other service or forum, like AOL? I've been reading the Taunton forums for just shy of two years now, at all hours of the day, and I have never seen a message saying the forum is too busy to use. I have seen delays in the afternoon and early evening, but even those delays were short lived, usually things would be back to normal ten minutes later.
It sounds to me like there's some entity between you and Taunton throttling your traffic and trying to make you think it's Taunton's fault.
I agree with UD above. I've never, ever gotten such a message, and y'all know how often I'm on Knots! What does the screen look like? Who's your ISP??

Ditto. Never seen that before.

Thanks to all who have replied.the situation I have described must be unique to the web tv internet access.I never have understood exactly how it works. I do not have a computer as such, however I am sure that There is one in lala land somewhere that controls my internet access.
The receiver is about the size of a cigar box and has a home on top of the tv set. It lets me do most anything that my grandson does with his fancy setup except use a scanner. The key board is wireless and my wife and I can sit across the room and read the screen.I do not remember ever having this to occur on the old forum. It just seemed strange that one minute the forum was too busy and a minute later it was not. Again thanks to all who took the time to reply.I`m going now to the shop and get involved in something that I understand. My access is MSN with the butterfly.
