I am working on a kitchen cabinets for my “Man” building. Should the inside of the boxes be finished or is just leaving exposed plywood OK? bob

It's pretty much aesthetics
It's pretty much aesthetics other than a film finish makes clean up easier.
I always finish the insides of kitchen cabinets as it makes it much easier to clean and if anything spills or leaks it doesn't satin the insides of the cabinet.
Although the insides of cupboards aren't likely to be cleaned often in a "man building", doing so will save money in the long run. By the time a house cleaner is hired to do the job, she'll say, "I can't clean those! You'll need to replace them." ;-)
If not too late already, be aware of the joys of prefinished plywood for building the boxes of cabinetry. The little bit extra charged is trivial compared to the effort involved in finishing the inside of boxes.
Thanks for the comments. I guess my main concern is if there were any issues with mildew or mold. I had pretty much decided to finish anything with doors but I wasn’t going to finish the inside of the boxes on the drawer units.
