   I just watched an episode of new yankee workshop. It looks like what you are describing. Here is a link with a picture. I have done several of Norm's projects and the videos and drawings are well done.  Good luck on the search.

   I have the Delta planer stand if you want one.  Never have used it!  Not sure it'd work for a jointer, though, even a benchtop.

   I'd have to check for dimensions.  Like I said, never have assembled it.  I have my planer mounted to a Rigid miter saw stand.  You serious?  I'll be glad to take a closer look (after I find it, LOL!  No, I can find it........)

   Thanks for the info. Is it the same that u have or is it something like it? because the reviews that it has on Amazon really put me off. And I dont want to spend that kind of money when I have a ton of ply wood lying around. Hence my interest in making one like the one in the picture in FW.

   I wouldn't want much for it.  I'm sure it's a sturdy stand, but if you want something that has storage in it, a built cabinet would be the way to go.  I'll have to take a look at that pic and see what's what.  Will get back to you tomorrow.....forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
