Hi,
I’m looking for a supplier of paint grade frame doors in the Toronto area, preferably the Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo area.
I’m a cabinet maker from Ireland, and last year I moved to Canada to live with my future wife that I met 5 years ago in Australia. Anyway, my work visa situation only allows me to work for one employer, and he won’t allow me to use any of his shop tools to do any jobs on the side, so I’m trying to out source the cabinets and doors so I can still do a kitchen for a family friend. I want to make it as economical as possible for them and still maybe put a few bucks on my back pocket, so I don’t want to go to a fitted kitchen company.
If I need to I can make the carcasses in my garage, but I don’t have the capacity to make or spray the doors.
Any help would be greatly apprecited.
Thank you,
Len.

Welcome to Knots.
This is a link to a trade paper (advertising type) (your employer probably gets it for free) that has lists of woodworking suppliers of machinery, materials, tools, hardware and components. You'll find tons of component suppliers that can provide every piece of a kitchen and all you need to do is assemble.

Hope it's of use to you.
Len... If you don't mind a bit of a drive I might be able to help you out. I live near Woodstock, about 25 minutes from 401 and Hwy 8. Send me an E mail with a phone #. I have a shop that I work in full time but for a one shot deal I think we could work something out
