Newbie question (sorry for the repeat, but I’m hoping to reach a few more eyes on the weekend): I’ve seen several different standards for t-tracks on the market (for building tables, jigs, etc), including:
and at least 2 different threadings for bolts & knobs:
For obvious reasons, I’d rather use one set of standards in my (to be built as soon as I have lots of free time) shop. 2 questions:

Depends on the strength needed. Toilet bolts are typically brass. If you don't intend to really reef down on it a toilet bolt in a thin aluminum track would do fine. For greater clamping force or where significant side loads are expected (safety guards, fences, etc.) you'd be better off finding a thick machined aluminum or steel track and fit hex bolts to it.
