Hello, everyone,
I am considering taking some training at Rosewood Studios here in the Ottawa Ontario Canada region, to improve my furniture-making skills. I would like to hear from anyone who has taken courses with them, as to which courses they took, how effective the training was and if they felt they received true value for the money and time they had to invest.

I went to Rosewood last Sept. for the Craftsman 1A and 1B. The class was awesome. I know that awesome is used alot, but it fits. Depending where you are in your skills you will still learn. I've been woodworking for a number of years.
Rosewood teaches fine furniture making. The instructors have all been in the business of fine furniture making. They will bring you to a new level. There are plenty of woodworkers out there, but if you want to take your skills up many notches you can't go wrong. They have 2 machine shops and great benches to work off of.
The staff is friendly, helpful and patient. You'll meet people from all over. The one thing I really like is the ability to take Craftmanship series on my schedule. I plan on taking Craftmanship 2A & B this fall then the rest one year at a time. By the time I'm done I'll be retired and ready to do what ever I want.
