Router problems
Hi Chincha, and welcome to Knots. Before calling this newest router defective, please check one important detail in your set-up. Are you seating the router bit ALL the way in until it bottoms out? If you are, it most likely will be the source of your problems. The bit should be seated all the way in and then pulled out aproximately 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch,. It should NOT be touching the bottom of the chuck. It is a common mistake many woodworkers make. If the bit is bottoming out it can be seated at an angle and cause the vibrations you spoke about. If the bit is bottoming out, the chuck collet may be grabbing on the radius at the 'top' of the shaft and not gripping the bit properly. This will let the bit slip (spin) within the collet and generate the heat you are speaking about.
I have not used the Triton, but when you say the depth adjustment 'got stuck, my first thought is that you are not blowing out the accumulation of dust from this adjustment area on a regular basis (Once a day). After a while, the normal vibrations of the router compact the dust so tightly, the depth adjustment can not be made.

Hi sawdustSteve, thanks for your advice, You know, the Triton router that I used (2 1/4 HP) it was without router bit, and also I removed the collect nut, and still getting hot and shaking the router table, I called Triton and they said is problably a bearing problem. The new Triton 3 1/4 that I got is working much better now !!!!
Thanks!!!
