My antiquer friend loaned me one of his refinishing brushes you chuck into a drill, called a pine brush or burnishing brush, to do a wax finish on some old barnwood. I was really happy with the finish, and I’d like to have several different brushes for different shades of wax. I am having a hard time finding them for less than around $20 each though.

Here’s a couple pics of what I’m looking for, but both the burnisher and cylinder brushes are 2x more than I want to pay.

My friend says he used to get them from a guy for around $5 each, but lost his contact info. Any ideas on where to get them?
