I was told this to my face today
Seems a guy I just meant has woodmaster 20″ planer (thicknesser) . He had let a guy use it and the person evidently had knicked the blades pretty good. Well!! He had seen some siding he liked that had many grooves parallel with the grain. So he drove “drywall” screws as close together as he could and ran it throught the planer (thicknesser) tow or three times. Claims it makes an almost exact copy of the siding he’d seen but is pretty noisy. 🙂 🙂

8, what is siding?
Philip,
We use it on the sides of our homes, on the outside walls.
Do the Kiwi's build their houses out of bricks, or sticks??
About the previous post must have been a Hillbilly (a bloke with lots and lots of tattoos), as a better method would have been to remove the blades and grind them accordingly.
Willie,
Yep, the Kiwis use sticks rather than bricks-takes some getting used to. There is also a man made product which has a wood grain embossed into it.
There are also lots of ladies and gents with huge expanses of tattoos, and I would guess that some of these are also of the Red Neck tribe, but I would sooner run off with one of their Harley Davidsons than ask one.Philip Marcou
