Not sure where to start. Has anyone done this? Was hoping to recreate a darker castle type wall style in tudor style for a basement man cave. I would like to keep it as true to historic look as possible.

Well the wood has to be Oak.
DON'T use rotary cut plywood. It will look dreadful. The panels are proper wood usually.

Thanks Rob. I went ahead and purchased one of the books mentioned in the video. Any ideas what the most economical way would be to reproduce oak panels that look correct. The tudor style appear to be completely flat. I’m wondering if a veneer would be available or if thin oak is available from any vendor.
