I HAVE A SMALL JET LATHE I HAVE A BARRACUDA CHUCK I USE THE FLAT JAWS TO STOCK THE SCREWS COVERED WITH RUBBER THAT HOLD THE STOCK THEY CALL THEM BUMBERS THE RUBBER IS ALL SHOT CAN NEW RUBBER BE PUT ON SCREWS

I do not know the size of the screws but I would think a piece of rubber or plastic tubing may work. You can cut them to length and push them over the screws.Tubing comes in diameters from 1/8" ID in 16th's upwards.
