unfinished cherry china cabinet doors
Hi,
I have 10 unfinished, cherry, china cabinet doors that I bought at a Pennsylvania House factory auction many, many, many years ago. I have been saving them because I thought I would eventually create a super groovy and fabulously beautiful project. Sadly, the reality has set in that I will probably never get around to trhis particular goal. Living in Montana, I have too many other hobbies to get past the beginner level of wood working.
Does anyone know how I could best go about selling these doors? I have been looking online for a supplier, so I could see what they might go for – but no luck. Are there any websites you veteren wood workers go to for this type of thing?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You might post them on the classified section of this site as well as the fine home building magazine site along with with a photo or two. You could try e-bay but I don't think you will do as well. Good luck

Breaktime is where the builders hang out. Try posting there. a picture would help. If it were me, and I had the time, I would go around to some houses under construction and talk to the cabinet makers there. .
Try advertising in your local newspaper classified section and maybe on any local radio stations that offer free for sale time .
The value will be only a portion of what they would cost to have them made , so don't get your expectations too high . $5-10- 20 each you could be lucky to get that much .
good luck dusty
Thanks for all the feedback. If they are worth ~$10 each, I may hang on to them just to keep the dream alive and annoy my husband! ;o)
Sounds like you have a purpose in mind for them. Got some pics?
Or maybe tempted to go out to the woodshop and make something for them?

A Woodworkers mind should be the sharpest tool in the shop!
