I’m running into a frustrating issue after purchasing an Unlimited membership. I recently subscribed to the magazine and today I paid for the Unlimited membership. After some issues with logging in, I got to the Customer Service portal which said I did not have any memberships to manage. When I go to the main website, all I get is the “sign up for a 14 Day trial” button with none of the access I paid for. I have an email receipt and order number, I’m using the same information that I did for the Unlimited and magazine membership, and the purchase went through with my bank, So I don’t know what the issue could possibly me. I even have the free workbench book you get when you sign up for unlimited. Any help would be appreciated! I can’t find quite the same issue on the forum, and especially not one that looked like it was resolved.

I’ve seen a lot of these types of complaints over the last few years. I would just buy a Fine Woodworking Magazine archive DVD. No hassles.
Just yesterday I called FWW customer service to sort out a billing problem. The guy I spoke with was very helpful and promptly resolved the issue — give them a call.
Joanker,
You're going to have to call or email customer service. There must be a mixup in your account, or it is somehow tied to another email address. Despite some reports, they're very on the ball these days and will get your sorted. Nobody on the forum can really help. I'm the editor and I can't help.
A month ago, my wife and I discovered a monthly charge we didn't know about. Turns out we had a threads membership we had forgotten about. I called into CS to see how it went. I never played the "Do you know who I am?" card. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the ease of the call and how well things were handled.
For the record, they eventually figured it out when they read my email address ending in "taunton.com".
