   Hey, Dick, just a little formatting help: When you type your post, don't use the "return" key at the end of the line like you would if you were at a typewriter; with this software, it forces a paragraph break that looks funny.. Just type along and the lines will automatically fit the text box...i think... <G>

   Darn!  When I saw that headline, I clicked away thinking I'd find a 1023S cabinet saw for sale right in my backyard for, say, $450.  ROFL!!!

   Just thought you would like to know.

   I got a mint condition Grizzly 1023 with a 5 hp motor, entra long rails, Delta Tenion jig, and sliding table for $600.00.

   Now that's a steal.

   Took off the rails and moved it on a dolly into and out of my van

   with only a friend to help.

   "Just thought you would like to know. " --  Ha!  OK, go ahead, rub it in!  Seriously though, what a find.  That sliding table must be real nice, not to mention the rails and tenoning jig. 

   For the time being, I'll be happier if no deals like that come my way 'cause it's a little slow in the retail world for me to be able to come up with the $$$.  Love it when the "deal" and the discretionary funds line up like friendly little planets!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl   ;-)

   Actually, I was super lucky.

   The ad was in the paper just that day.

   When I showed up to check it out, he already had about ten calls.

   Needless to say, I gave him cash and took it on the spot.

   Now I have to make room for it.
