Up date on I think I may have to move.
Hello All ! I did get the O.P.P. ( Ontario Provincial Police) To come to the site and have him remove his truck and his trailer. So far he has not caused me any more trouble BUT
In the shop I heat with a wood stove, and he is trying to get the building inspector up to look at me heating with a wood stove. I do not know if this is legal or not, and I will have to call my insurance agent to find out if I am covered when I use this wood stove.
I the shop their is a forced air oil furnace, which has not been used for at least 2 years, I would like to use it, but the owner (the wife) says that the return air comes in at the floor and their is no duct work and that this is not allowed ( I really don’t know if this is true or not. The heating ducts come out of the top of the furnace and go the full length of the shop with outlets every so often.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

I have no idea what is required in Canada but I would assume it is very much like here in the USA where I live. I would just go and ask the local inspector that you would have to deal with. Where I live, they can be hard on you, BUT they will 'talk' if you ask for an appointment. Not sure about your electric rates but if the shop allows maybe a oil filled electric radiator. No open flame so nice for a shop. Way to expensive for me to use for very long.
Good luck...
