My goodness, I never thought there could be so many opinions on this subject.

Thanks to all of you for the good advice and input, without a resource like this I doubt I could gain this much wisdom in a lifetime.

There is a "price", rooster. You're now expected to drop in from time to time and throw your two cents worth into other folks questions - lol

Not to revisit your question last week, but I just wanted you to know that I sold a $8900 commission this morning, and received a check for $2500.00 to begin work, and the balance due upon installation. My customer did not bat an eyelash when I asked for the deposit. Just thought you would like to know!! Happy New Year!!
