I just finished doing just what you're planning; I got my slides from Woodpeckers (22" full extension) for less than $8 per pair. They have their sale on these a few times a year. The slides are unbranded, but look identical to the more expensive name brands. They're probably all made in the same Chinese factory, anyway, just like most everything else we buy today.
The Co. that I order my cabinet doors from sells them for $ 4.75 a pair. They aren't Accuride's and they don't ship them any where outside of So. Cal. So I would say shop around on the internet or even better yet, find a local cabinet shop and tell them what your doing and they could tell you where to purchase some at their price. They may even sell some they have on hand.
