Does anyone use a metal-cutting shaper – like a 7 inch Atlas – to “plane” small pieces of wood – for boxes, puzzles, other small projects? If so, what form on tool bit, rounded?

I'd be willing to bet you would be the first. Probably confuse the heck out of some people as a metal shaper is nothing like a wood shaper or a planer for that matter.
I don't think anybody uses them on metal anymore. Do you just happen to have a freebie you came across?
