We have a place here in MN that is doing a thriving business selling used equipment (on consignment). Have you checked around your area for something like this?
Our local newspaper has a classified section devoted to tools (only in the Sunday edition, as I recall), and they seem to have a quite large array of stuff.
Local woodworking clubs almost always seem to have a tool exchange (in their newsletter) set up for this purpose.

Two woodworking web sites with classified ads come to mind: Woodweb and the Oak Factory. If you have a table saw to sell and within a day's drive of south-east Michigan I may be interested.

I'm In Pittsburgh, PA. I Don't Really Know if That is a Day Drive.
If Interested Call Me @ (412) 351-2934.
Thanks For the Info,

Larry,
Thanks for the information about the table saw which you have for sale but, I think, it may be more table saw than I can handle. I have an old Rockwell unisaw in my shop here in Michigan which suits me just fine. But, I'm spending more and more time remodeling our summer home in Canada and I'm looking for a table saw to leave there. Another unisaw would be great or even a contractor's saw would probably work. If you hear of something like that keep me in mind.

Chip,
I have an older 10 inch Delta contractor's saw I may be interested in selling.
I live in the Upper Peninsula. If interested email me. (can get address from website)

Hi Garry,
Thanks for your response. I might be interested. What is the age, condition, and price for your Delta contractor's saw? Also, where are you located in the UP? If you're just across the bridge, my wife and I may be going up to Traverse City in a couple of weeks and could go a little further north on that trip. You can contact me directly at [email protected]

I am surprised that Ebay has not been mentioned. I see all kinds of tools for sale there. In fact, I have another 8 inch jointer for sale there myself! (I know, Forrest Girl, another shameless plug!)

Ditto.
If you live in a small market Ebay will get you in touch with more potiential buyers. If you live in a large market there will be local buyers interested.
Mikeplease excuse my spelling.
Eric,
I monitor Ebay regularly and it's a good site to see how much various used machines are selling for. However, if it's something I actually want, the machine is always in Texas or California and I'm in Michigan. Also, most sellers of large used machines refuse to ship and insist on local pick-up. Finally, I guess I'm not willing to bid $500 or $1,000 on something sight-unseen but, maybe, that's just me. Lots of folks seem to be willing to do so.

Most of the forums have classifieds section (Google for woodworking forum). Those and Little Nickle or major city classifieds are your best bets for good money.
