A person I know is selling a used jointer at an estate sale.  The jointer is an 8 inch jointer with a 68 inch bed and a 3 knife cutter head.  The machine is a off brand made in China copy of an old Delta.  The machine looks to be in decent shape but one of the concerns besides being an off brand tool is that the motor is only 1.5 hp, all of the 8 inch machines I see sold now have 3hp motors.  The price would be 400 dollars.  I currently have a 6 inch Rigid brand from HD.  so size wise this would be an upgrade as far as size goes.  All of your thoughts would be appriciated.
