Related to my search for a good used cab saw.
Anyone have sources to keep an eye on for used machinery besides news classifieds, Ebay, and auctions? Just wondering if I need to add something to the usual sources.
Any other online messageboards worth bookmarking?
Thanks in advance.

Try http://www.irsauctions.com , Industrial Recovery Services. Mostly big manufacturers auctions, but there is some smaller stuff there to.

In my area, craigslist.org is a good source. They may have a board in yours.
Check out the "machinery exchange " section at the woodweb site. Also, the Oak Factory has a classified section as does the Old Woodworking Machines site. If you find an old unisaw or Powermatic 66 in the Michigan area keep me in mind. I"m on the lookout for a second cabinet saw for my shop. Thanks.

You can check out Exfactory also, it has a lot of industrial stuff but you can find almost anything there. It has about 5000 items listed.
Have had my best luck with 'Wanted to Buy' ads in newspaper classifieds. You never know who has been trying to figure out how to unload some old tool. Stick to the general classifieds, not everyone reads the tool ads.
Good luck,
Paul
