Hello
I normally apply stains with a brush and then use a rag to wipe, and sometimes I just use a rag to apply the stain,(its a bit messier that way but…) I was just wondering if any one knows if using a spray bottle, would be any easier or cleaner way to apply stains or dyes?
Has anyone tried this idea? or dose anyone see any real problems with this idea?

Just this morning, I watched Norm use a spray bottle to apply alcohol based dye to a mission style mirror. Looked like a good way to get it on quickly, especially on panels. He was spraying with one hand and ragging it with the other. I'm going to give it a try.

Norm is still on TV? I havent seen him for perhaps 2 years. My PBS station dose not have the new Yankee work shop listed. I thought he retired. WOW Thanks again,I just learned two new things.
(My Dad always said, try to learn at least one new thing every day.) Now Im a day ahead! ;-)
