Using a crosscut sled on cherry for joinery
I don’t have room for a jointer so am trying to get a perfect edge for glueups using my contractor saw and a crosscut sled.
Gives me a great edge with pine and redwood. I move to cherry and it’s not a straight edge. The middle of the edge always bows out slightly. Is this a blade issue? Is there anthing I can do diffrently?
I have also tried routing a perfect edgewith a router and a perfect guide. Same issue.
Any ideas what I can do to get the edge right — before I’m down to cherry toothpicks?

Jointing without a Jointer
Here are some online tutorials that might help. Some are "members-only," others are free. Hope this helps!
