I have a use for the gallon can of PEG that’s been sitting on my shelf for several years, but I’ve lost the instructions. Anyone know how to prepare and use it? Also, is it compatible with all finishes?

Never mind, I found it: http://www.12bmedia.com/carpentry/woodworking/peg-1000--polyethylene-glycol.html
For future reference you might want to consider Pentacryl. Seems to have replace PEG as it has better working properties and doesn't leave the surface as messy.
OK, thanks. I'll look into it when I run out of PEG.
