Thanks for the info. I suspect many on this site want Grizzly, Steel City or some other "new" equipment instead of "old used" stuff. I'm in the "old used" camp.

There's a great Oliver hollow chisel mortiser and 36" planer there! I think the planer description says it's 4000 pounds.

Lee:
Just to inform you, I sold the PM 221 planer we spoke about. Next week there is a PM180 planer and PM jointer at a meat packing plant auction along with other wood and metal equipment. They have 5 stainless steel, sliding table bandsaws. Should be a fun day.DJK
Hey, no problem. I was beginning to figure you changed your mind. 12" jointer at a meat packing plant, huh? What do they do, joint the meat after they cut it? HaHa.
Lee
....The jointer is for "Trim" cuts.... (LOL)

I just saw a hollow chisel morticer yesterday what probably had a 5 HP (real HP) motor on it. Must be 50 years old. It makes the new ones look like toys. Also, some huge bandsaws and a couple of 12" jointers.
"I cut this piece four times and it's still too short."
