I need assistance in finding a UV protective sealer that will be used as the base coat under NC laquer. It will be used on indoor furniture to help protect pink ivory inlays from turning brown. Thanks in advance to all!!

This may wake up some sleeping dogs, but I don't think nitrocellulose lacquer is available anymore. Technology moved on.

Sure it's still around, at least outside Calif and a few other places. It's not the advance of technology that will do it in, but the spread of regulations.
I got a container of the stuff from Turnabout Woods (spelling not guaranteed) in the Kansas City area. They recently moved to a suburb thereof. You should be able to find them on the 'net. They do mail order.
