I`am planning to lay up some veneer.A friend has meat packing plant,would a cryo vac machine apply enough pressure to clamp down veneer.The panels are flat,appox 24 by 36 in.

How much vacuum (inches of mercury) does your buddy's machine develop? Can you turn off the cryo part? That would inhibit glue curing, I would think!

Don`t know,but how is this method different from a vacuum press,both suck out the air.

My bag has a gauge that shows the amt of vacuum in inches of mercury. Less than 10-15inches gives insufficient pressure to yield consistantly good glue joints, especially when dealing with large sheets of veneer, sharp curves, or thicker laminations. Just my experience.
