Good evening all! Just purchased a new full size van and I am not happy with the options offered by Weatherguard, etc. Anyone with opinions, advice or options of something premade or shopmade would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,
Are you a plumber, electrictian, cabinet installer, remodeler, HVAC.......? I have a Chevy Express and use the Adrian package that came with it. I am a remodeler, cabinet maker/installer.
If you are a trade person and usually carry around the same basic set of tools try what I did. I went to the dealership in my old truck and loaded everything into the van, then stood back, smoked a cigarette and thought of where I would put the stuff I don't always carry ( compressor, lumber, materials boxes, jack hammer). If you live in a large metro area there should be several work truck customizers with examples in stock.
You should post this on the breaktime forum as they likely have a lot more experience with this stuff.

thank you for the input Mike, will do some research. I am in the same position re: tools i don't use all the time, that is one reason the van was purchased instead of a replacement P/U.
Forestgirl, Will try to locate that thread, thanks for the heads up.
This is amazing. There was a nearly identical thread several months ago. I have no idea how you might go about searching for it, but give it a try. There were some very useful contributions.
We had a Chevy cargo van that was originally owned by an electrician. He made shelving out of the angle-iron that has holes in it, big shelves, lined the sides of the van. Cool.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
