Yes, just be sure it is fully cured. Smell it. If it has an odor, it's not cured yet.
Once cured, any finish can be applied over Watco.
The answer is normally yes, and just like Howie say's the Watco must be cured first. But, if you don't want to risk a mistake, then do a test piece first. I say this because all finishing materials are not equal and you could have different results from different brands, types or even batches of varnishes. The bottom line is just like the tried and true saying, measure twice, cut once.Steve - in Northern California
