Just before a store closed about 10 years ago I bought some wide velcro cord wraps that are really a pleasure to use, much more so than the thin ones in Home Depot. A picture with the dimensions is attached. It is about 15″ long, 3/4″ wide for the body and 1 1/2″ wide at the start. Does anyone have a source for cord wraps of these approx dimensions, or 1 1/2″ wide velcro rolls I could cut to this shape? Thanks.

Here's one possibility. Aerostich is a motorcycle supply house, and they sell a 1" wide by 36" long Velcro strap that you can cut to length, for $3/each (or $5/each for heavy duty stuff.) http://www.aerostich.com/product.php?productid=16413&cat=283&page=2
You may be able to find rolls of Velcro at some fabric stores as well.

Don ,
Your local fabric store will have velcro in various width rolls , as you know velcro or hook and loop has two sides to it so you may need to either sew the two halves together or get sticky back velcro and stick them to each other. Also another is a strap with a snap lock, like on a life jacket or similar .
good luck
Found the straps in McMaster Carr web site. They even have wider ones if needed. Great for extension cords and 3/8" air hose.
