I am considering using hardboard (tempered or plain) as a core for some veneering. I will probably use urethane glue. Does anyone see a problem with this technique?
Thanks, Dave

That should work well---regular or tempered. It is a stable product and as long as you have some method of keeping an even pressure over the entire surface until glue sets you will have a good stable product.
