I am currently not able to view the videos being offered, even though I can still view videos of older vintage. When I click on the video link, I am taken to the page but no image shows up. (just the text) So, the problem appears to have come on in the past few months. On the advise of FWW staff, I updated my Adobe shockwave viewer and restarted the PC. Then I modified my security system (LOL) to allow Taunton and FWW sites. I also tried an alternate browser. None of these “fixes” had any observable effect on the problem.
HELP! Have any of you experienced problems of this nature? If so, any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks and best regards, Tom.

Have you tried emptying your browser's cache?
Tom. Can you send me an email at [email protected] with your operating system, browser version, and internet connection speed, so I can pass this on to our tech staff for review
Also, the software you would need to upgrade is Adobe Flash Player, not Shockwave. As far as I know there is a difference between those programs. Check to see you have the current version of Flash installed and let me know if that works.

I have continuing problems with the videos. After the video concludes and I try to close the tab in Firefox or leave the video by clicking on any other FWW link, my system freezes @ 100% of a 2.4g P4. The only way to exit the page is to close Firefox and start over. I updated Adobe Flash deleted cookies and all that stuff. No help. I do not have the same problem with IE.I have absolutely no problem watching videos from any other site. I think there's a conflict between FWW and Firefox.pins
This story is getting wierd. I just tried Mozilla Firefox for the first time. I was able to watch every video that would not previously run under windows without a problem. You appear to have the opposite problem. Actually, I can run some of the older videos just fine under windows, so I am at a loss on the root cause of my problems.Good luck, Tom.
Thanks Pins.
What you reported is a known bug that we recently were informed about. Although, we think it's only a problem with Firefox on Mac OS X. I've tested it on Firefox for Windows XP withouy any problems. Are you using a Mac?

Matt,No, XPHome SP2 and I have 1g memory. And it freezes every
time, even after I re-boot and only have one tab open.Right now I have 10 IE windows, 19 Firefox tabs and
Thunderbird running and am only using between 16-44%
of my processor and 730mb memory, so I know that its
not my machine.pins
OK. Let me shoot this off to the tech department for review.
Thanks,pins
BTW,Most web sites do not engineer to the highest/newest technology because that eliminates the majority of the online community, not good for business, but it probably makes the in-house web weenies look good.pins
