Hello,
Is it possible to view the video’s on this site using RealPlayer instead of Flash?
With RealPlayer, on other sites, I can download the whole clip first and then play it without the annoying, long “buffering” or “communicating” pauses I get on this site using Flash.
I am a novice when it comes to computers, so am I doing something wrong, or is it something everyone has to live with?
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Joseph,
The videos are only available in streaming Flash. I suspect the buffering issue has to do with the speed of your internet connection. The videos are optimized for viewing through a high-speed connection like DSL or Cable. While they will play on a dial-up connection, the buffering interruptions are to be expected.

I too am having problems watching the videos. They are the main reason I became a subscriber to the web site. It takes about twenty minutes to watch a five minute video. Are there any solutions?

Hi Dan,
As I said in my previous post, you are going to have trouble viewing the videos on a dial-up connection. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the Internet. Videos are primarily broadband applications.
If you do have high-speed internet, and you're still having trouble viewing the videos, that's another story. If that's the case, let me know and I'll see what recommendations I can get from the tech folks.

Hi Matt,There is a site that also uses Flash for showing video, (http://www.youtube.com). On this site, when one presses the pause button, the video continues loading. So one can press "pause", wait a few minutes, then press the play button and see the video in one continuous shot. On the FWW site when you press the pause button, so does the downloading. Is there anyway to modify the "button control" either on my computer,
or is it something controled by the FWW site?BTW I am using a DSL.Cheers,
Joseph
