Hello everybody thank you for letting me join this forum. I just wanted to reach out and share some pictures and backstory on these tools and maybe get some insights from others. So I have a chest of tools that were owned by my great great great grandfather, who was a carpenter in Coloma, California and built the old post office there in 1933 and resided in the house, which is now a landmark next to that old post office. Anyway, these tools are in my garage. They’re in beautiful condition and I wanted to get some feedback on them. I’m enclosing some pictures of them. I know they’re from the late 1800s as far as the Disston hand saws. All the old planes. I can’t find any information on them or stamps or engraving. I would love some help. Trying to locate them if you could advise me on that also again thank you.

You may have been to the Disstonian website, but if not here is the link. disstonianinstitute.com/
You'll be able to nail down the years the saws were made by looking at the medallions and handles.
