Norton Anti-virus just intercepted a virus that in a message from an old Knothead. My guess is he didn’t initiate the virus but it was spreading via his address book.

Was the attachment 50,688 bytes in length? That's the telltale sign of the Bugbear virus that was making its way around some Taunton posters' address books a while back. No, i did not open...
I didn't notice the size. It did take some time to download, and then the Norton warning popped up. When I think of how many years I ran my computer without background virus checking, I can't believe I didn't get zapped back then. Have it running full-time on both computers now, updated definitions daily. Whew.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
