Viscosity Cups and Mil guages for waterborne finishing
I am trying to find a business where I can purchase a Ford #4 Viscosity Cup and a MIl guage to measure finishes as I am applying them with a spray gun. I have found only one site for the viscosity cup and they wanted more for freight and insurance than they did for the cup. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Have you checked with Sherwin Williams, there should be a store that caters to the commercial trade with-in reach. Your local consumer, residential oriented store can tell you.
Another place to check is http://www.homesteadfinishingproducts.com That's Jeff Jewitt's site. Don't know about the shipping. By the way, if you don't find the Ford cup exactly, there are tables that allow you to convert times on one cup to times on others.
A cup may not always be accurate - there are many other variables to consider. Instead of using the cup - spray sample patterns on scrap pieces until you get the feel of the finish you're using - and the pressure coming from the gun -

Gardco has what you need. Buy a zahn cup, keep track of the temperature and get an accurate top watch. There are good instructions on their site for using the cup.
