Hello, I am going to visit Brighton in England next month. I was wondering if any of you is aware of any good place to find bargains in handplanes, chisels etc. I was told there are many flea markets.
I hope someone will advice.
Thanks Enrico

Check with your airline and customs people before you buy anything !! I had a customer who was affraid to buy anything sharp or pointy, and didn't ! Because he was flying and has had problems in the past.
No carry-on, check it in
If you have anything sharp or pointy in your carry-on luggage then yes, you are in trouble. You will likely lose that item.
But if you put these things in your checked luggage then there is no problem at all.
See the official TSA statement: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/assistant/editorial_1187.shtm (towards the end of the page, paragraph "Knives and Tools").
