I hope I can make my self clear on this. I hope I can explain this so everyone can understand. I am trying to round the corners of my walls and celling. I thought about taking a 1×4, 45ing the back edges. This would make a fairly round corner, but I’m not sure how to make the corners come together at the celling. can’t figure out how to cut the angles. Help! What I want to do is put a stucco, or faux finish on the inside of a room. Trying to give it a spanish style. Am I on the right track with the 1×4 or is there a better way of doing this. Any help would be great. Thanks

May I suggest that you post this question in Breaktime. In the Construction techniques section or possibly the general section.
I think you will get some answers there.

Are you applying this modification to existing walls? If so, are they plaster or drywall, painted or fresh? You are refering to coved corners and the way I have done this in the past is to treat it kind of like a run plaster molding.
I get myself a curved tool (I've used plastic lids from buckets, plastic dinner plates, and similar "found" tools of appropriate radius) and use it to apply a first coat of base plaster like Structo Lite, into which I embed mesh joint tape for reinforcement, again using the curved tool. (Unless you are doing this over fresh blueboard, you'll need to use a bonding agent and I'd glue some web tape down first.) Then, after this dries, I follow with a coat or two of guaging plaster or drywall mud, applied with a tool of slightly larger radius, and troweled smooth.
Not easy. Have fun.
