Yes, prices are on the rise.
The grade of the wood determines the price and FAS is selling for between $1.80 and $1.60 bd.ft. green rough at the mill. #1 is selling around $1.30 and #2 is selling for $ .80 (it fluctates weekly).
That is bunker price when you purchase approximately 1000 bd.ft.
I don't know what it would be in other parts of the country or by the single board
Here in Ohio the price has dropped ever so slightly, it is now $4.27/bd.ft. FAS quality in quantities of 250bd.ft. or more. It was around $4.87 not too long ago. Less than 100bd.ft. is out rageous, over $5.00 This is picking it up yourself at the mill/kiln drying location.
