Build your own kitchen cabinets by Danny Proulx. New Yankee Workshop DVD. There are many books out there.

I second the Danny Proulx books. Well written, comprehensive.

I used this book for many years building all sorts of casegoods before I ever built kitchen cabinets. Still one of my favorites.

Dear Studmuffin,
I happen to have two copies of Jim Tolpin's Building Traditional Kitchen Cabinets, 2006 Edition by the Taunton Press. If you like, e-mail me your address to [email protected] and I can mail you a copy; no strings attached. I am not saying that this is the best book, but at least you'd have another reference for your project. Regards
echo Jim Tolpin

Charles Neil's DVD - Cases
Charles Neil's DVD - Cases and Bases has a section on kitchen cabinets that I think is the best I have seen.

I've yet to see him put a bad one out. Loved that complete set. He definately one of the best teachers I've seen.
