Does anyone have one of these lying around. I know many people buy old machinery and convert it over to single phase. I burned up my unisaw motor today and ned a replacement. naturally I’m looking for a deal so if anyone has one lying around from a swap, let me know and we’ll see wht we can work out. I’m in GA so closer would obviously be better since they are so heavy.
Thanks all.
Tom

Try Redmond and Son out on Fulton Ind. Blvd. I bet they got a dozen lying around. eBay turns them up from time to time.
I called redmond but there was no one there today that could give me a price on one. I'll try again tomorrow.
Called redmond today and they have none. May have to get a new one but I hate that idea.
Sorry, looked like they had 4-5 when I was there in Jan, before they remodeled. Try some of the other woodworking forums, I know guys are getting a lot of 3ph saws at auction/closing sales that they want to convert to single phase.
There is one on payBAY now. Just search "unisaw". If no luck post a WTB ad. I have 4 of those motors in my "collection" of 13 Unisaw motors. Good luck.

Yea Ebay. They go a lot cheeper than the 1 phase.
Pardon my spelling,
Mike
Make sure that your next project is beyond your skill and requires tools you don't have. You won't regret it.
Tom:
I have one that I took out of my Unisaw and replaced it with a 1 phase. I have the starter as well. I just couldn't toss it out. It's yours for price of shipping and boxing.
I'm in the San Diego area of California. let me know if you are interested. You can contact me at [email protected]
I sent you an e-mail.
Got it.
